I am honored to share my transformative journey as a former teacher at Unifat Primary School, an institution that significantly shaped my personal and professional growth. Unifat served as a nurturing space that instilled a strong sense of mission in both students and staff.

At the heart of Unifat's lasting legacy is the late Abitimu Rebecca, the visionary founder who created a sanctuary for a community healing from conflict. Her dedication to inclusivity fostered a secure environment where every child and staff felt valued and embraced. Unifat was a vital hub for psychosocial healing, supporting those affected by the LRA insurgency and the ramifications of HIV/AIDS. I deeply admire the unwavering compassion and leadership she embodied.

During my time at Unifat, I was fortunate to be mentored by remarkable leaders such as Mr. Oywello George and Mr. Oneka Charles, whose guidance fueled my passion for social change and shaped my professional ethics. The school's emphasis on experiential learning through hands-on workshops and leadership initiatives equipped me to navigate the complexities of humanitarian work.

My experience at Unifat was pivotal in igniting my interest in psychosocial support, leading me to become a Psychosocial Facilitator with Tutapona International, and later a Human Resource Officer at Care International. The skills I honed during my time at Unifat have been invaluable in helping me manage high-pressure situations with professionalism and empathy.

Now, as an Assistant Lecturer at Gulu University, I strive to embody the resilience, compassion, and integrity instilled in me at Unifat. I am profoundly grateful to the late Abitimu Rebecca, my mentors, and the entire Unifat community for their enduring impact on my life. Unifat was not merely an educational institution; it was a powerful movement of hope and social progress.

I am thrilled to share my experience with this exceptional primary school, which has truly set a high standard for education. From the moment I stepped into the school's vibrant and welcoming environment, I knew that I was in good hands.

The teachers and staff were dedicated professionals who genuinely care about the well-being and development of each pupil. They took their time to understand the unique needs and interests of every child, providing personalized attention and support that fosters a love for learning.

Unifat primary school a place that changed my academic ability from 2009 to 2014.

As their motto states "learning for love and understanding". The teachers are so loving, caring and friendly. Made new friends. The beautiful structures and clean compound, large playground for all the co curricular activities like football, netball, athletes and so much more. Great leadership is what defines us and I had the opportunity to be part of the leaders during my time at UNIFAT PRIMARY SCHOOL. I'm so much grateful because they built the foundation for who I am today.
